Build gaming metaverse projects and win prizes this summer! Moralis can now proudly reveal that we will host the Moralis Cronos Web3 Metaverse Hackathon this summer. Applications are open until August 15th, 2022. The hackathon itself will run from August 20th to September 5th, 2022.
Inspired by Moralis’ recent integration of Cronos, the Web3 Metaverse Hackathon empowers developers to create groundbreaking Web3 games and metaverses using the ultimate combination of Moralis’ streamlined multichain workflow, and Cronos’ fast EVM compatibility.

Hackathon Overview
The Moralis Cronos Web3 Metaverse Hackathon will launch on August 20th, 2022, and run until September 5th, 2022.
$60,000 in prizes has already been announced, with more due to be pledged soon for a total prize pool of at least $100,000.
To be in with a chance to win, hackathon participants must register by August 15th, 2022, and build a gaming, metaverse, or GameFi dapp on the Cronos blockchain using Moralis. The project must also qualify as an MVP, and there needs to be a working prototype that can be demoed at the end of the event.
Both individual developers and teams are eligible to enter. Individuals looking for a team can join the Moralis Discord to find like-minded collaborators.
Participants will also get access to leading advice from the bleeding edge of GameFi. Moralis, Cronos, and many other soon-to-be-announced partners will share invaluable market insights, tips, and tactics for standing out in the fast-paced ecosystems of Web3.

The Moralis Cronos Integration
