Moralis Event Watch
It is another amazing week for the Moralis events!
We just finished our meetup in Mumbai, which was an incredible experience for our community as people got to meet other devs and formed teams to build phenomenal stuff (#built_on_moralis). Indie game company, BornMonkie, shared their plans to build a metaverse and announced that they will be using Moralis for their backend. Also, Moralis impressed many people and gained new doors of collaboration that will be shared as we progress.
The event is just about to be completed, but we already have the next few planned, including GirlScript Summer of Code by GirlScript, which is a two-month-long event featuring amazing Moralis workshops. After that, we have “Hack For Inclusion (H4I)”, which is around May 12th – May 15th at IIIT Allahabad.
Also, keep an eye out for Moralis team members in Dubai over the next couple of weeks. Between ETHDubai, Binance Week, and the AIBC Summit, we have “boots on the ground” and can’t wait to chat with you about Web3 and the future we are building together! Extra Game Builders Update
Ash is back again this week with brand new tips and tricks straight from the Web3 gaming mill! Before we get into it, here is an overview from the Moralis Mage himself:
“Whilst building a 2D game in Phaser and using Moralis to integrate Web3 functionality, I could see that a powerful feature to implement would be to allow access to the game or just to specific power-ups, but only if the player holds an NFT from a specific collection in their wallet. This would allow a game developer to create an auxiliary NFT collection that could directly influence the core game, enriching the experience and lore for players.
Well, with Moralis, we can make that happen super easily, and I’ll show you how in this video!”
