We at Moralis couldn’t be happier to welcome Craig Hammell on board!

Coinbase’s Craig Hammell Joins Moralis as Senior Technical Advisor

We at Moralis are joyous to welcome Craig Hammell as our senior technical advisor. Craig Hammell is, of course, best known for being the first engineering hire by Coinbase, outside of the Coinbase founders. Now, Craig is joining Moralis as an advisor, and we look forward to having his experience and expertise for scaling Moralis to become the default standard for Web3 development.

Hammell’s proven track record and experience of scaling and growing a venture in the blockchain industry will be immensely helpful. This is especially true as Moralis seeks to expand its set of tools and to bring support for more blockchains.

According to Hammell himself, he first understood the transformational potential of Moralis when he was working on his own project. Using Moralis, as he puts it, was a game-changer for Hammell’s development process. We look forward to having Craig along for the ride as we at Moralis become the premier solution for cross-chain and cross-platform dApp development.

”[Using Moralis] is like having my own infrastructure team for DeFi,” Hammell said. ”It’s like the missing piece that will enable a thousand times more developers to build on blockchains. I am very excited to help the Moralis team grow, and the whole ecosystem with it.”

The fact that Craig is now joining Moralis in an advisory role indicates that he sees Moralis as potentially having the same potential to reshape the industry that Coinbase had when Hammell became Coinbase’s first engineering hire. We welcome Craig Hammell to Moralis and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on board!
