Chainlink Fall 2021 Hackathon

The Chainlink Fall 2021 Hackathon will kick off on October 22nd, 2021 with an opening ceremony at 6PM ET and a subsequent team-gathering event. This will allow participants without teams to congregate and find partners for the next 5 weeks. While hackathon project submissions are officially due by November 28th, the closing ceremony is on December 10th to allow for the judges to review projects and select the hackathon’s winners.

Geared towards novice smart contract developers, the Chainlink Hackathon includes a myriad of different workshops and complimentary educational resources for registrants to learn the ABCs of blockchain development, from popular dev environments and best practices to integrating critical infrastructure resources such as Chainlink Data Feeds. Chainlink Hackathon Tracks

The Chainlink Fall 2021 Hackathon consists of two main tracks – a “Welcome Track” and a “Main Track”. Consequently, developers will be able to choose their hackathon journey in the Chainlink Fall 2021 Hackathon based on their skill level. 

• Welcome Track

The hackathon’s “Welcome Track” seeks to accelerate the learning process for developers without extensive previous experience in smart contract development. As such, the Welcome Track is a gateway to these developers’ first blockchain hackathon. As a low-stakes environment where developers receive world-class technical support, this education-centric track allows participants to build their blockchain skills through learning-by-doing.

• Main Track

The Chainlink Fall 2021 Hackathon’s “Main Track” is for developers who are already confident with blockchain programming and are aiming for the $400k+ prize pool.
